GAMEd is a little app that assigns high priority to the window manager and the X server. It's objective is to fix the problem of low FPS and big delay when playing to OpenGL (3D) games under a compositing window manager (like Elementary OS/Gala, Gnome Shell/Mutter, Compiz/Unity...).
